The exam was conducted by the Gujarat State on 23rd January 2022 in different centers all over the state. The exam was divided in 2 papers. The 1st paper was containing total of 50 Multiple Choice questions about Basic English/ Mathematics/ Social Science etc while the 2nd paper was containing 100 multiple choice questions about teaching aptitude.

If any candidate finds that the answer given in the answer key is not correct then he or she can raise an issue and send it to the organizer of GSET exam. To raise an issue candidate have to pay fees of Rs. 1000. Here are the steps that candidate should follow to challenge answer given in answer key:
- Candidate has to send a written request via post to Member secretary of Gujarat State Eligibility Test.
- In letter candidate should attach evidence that claims that answer given in answer key is incorrect with demand draft of Rs.1000.
- Candidates have to post this letter on the address – The Maharaja Sayajirao University Of Baroda, Block – B, Chameli Baag, Mr. Unversity Guest House, Prof. C. C. Mehta Road, Vadodara, PIN – 390002.
The Merit List of GSET 2022 will be released with the result of the exam. The merit list contains name of the candidates who have qualified for the next round of selection.
